Move expands space to satisfy expanding staff, portfolio and work product

Clear Height Properties, the real estate investment, management and services firm based in Chicago, has completed an office lease at 150 N. Wacker Drive in Chicago’s West Loop. The company is relocating from space in River North.

“With the continued growth and expansion of Clear Height Properties, in terms of assets under management and the people required to effectively operate the organization, we ran out of space in River North,” says Joe Sergi, a Partner and COO of Clear Height Properties. “This new location provides an ideal platform for us to further build on the success we have achieved to date.”

Highlights of the Clear Height’s growth over the last 12 months include:

  • The acquisition of 12 properties totaling over 1.2 million square feet and valued in excess of $70 million. Notable acquisitions include 26TwentyFive Butterfield, a 201,800-square-foot office building in Oak Brook which was part of a four-building portfolio, a portfolio of five industrial properties from American Landmark Properties and, most recently an industrial flex asset in Carol Stream.
  • The hiring/appointment of Jason Pammler, Managing Director of Project and Development Services for work on the Clear Height portfolio of properties as well as offering those capabilities and expertise to third party clients, including property owners and commercial tenants.
  • The hiring/appointment of Gary Rose, Managing Director, Asset Management & Acquisitions to source and evaluate new acquisition opportunities, develop strategies and maximize value for Clear Heights clients and investors.
  • The addition of 5 new staff members in accounting, property management and administrative functions. With the various staff additions made in the last year, Clear Height has doubled in size.

The 31-story building features 360-degree panoramic views of the city and Chicago River. With 8,000-square-foot floor plates, the building totals approximately 246,600 square feet and provides tenants significant identity on each floor. The property also features on-site valet, tenant conference centers and break rooms, an outdoor river deck, and manned security. The new provides easy access to commuter transportation options, from commuter trains to all major expressways. It is conveniently located to various other amenities, including restaurants, etc.
