Clear Height Properties Leases 175,538 SF in Q3 2022, a 127% increase year over year
Clear Height Properties has completed 31 new and renewal leases totaling 175,538 SF in the third quarter of 2022 and has completed 85 leases totaling 425,000 SF year to date.
“We are continuing to see strong new and renewal activity across the portfolio and have not needed to veer from our original business plans,” said Max Hoye, Director of Leasing, Clear Height Properties. “The economic impacts of interest rate increases are still being filtered through the economy and we will closely monitor how that affects our buildings and tenant base. Clear Height is a nimble operator that understands the Chicago market well and our sound business practices will ensure our ability to serve tenants for years to come.”
Significant transactions in the third quarter of 2022 included:
- 8220 Austin Ave., Morton Grove, IL
- Signed a 45,000 SF extension with Dynamic Group, a contract cabinet manufacturer who has seen considerably recent growth. Dynamic Group has invested in a state-of-the-art showroom at their location and continues to update their machinery to keep up with customer demands.
- Johnson & Quin expanded their offsite storage facility to 17,500 SF at the property. Johnson & Quin is a large volume, personalized direct mail company that has been operating in Chicago for 146 years. Sam Badger with CBRE represented Johnson & Quin while Brendan Green and Patrick Turner represented Clear Height.
- 400 Bonnie Ln., Elk Grove Village, IL
- Completed two new leases totaling 5,000 SF with a construction company and food packaging company. Clear Height was represented by Mason Hezner and Candace Scurto with Brown Commercial Group.
- 1775-1801 Old Hwy 8, New Brighton, MN
- Michelin North America signed a 5,000 SF lease at Clear Height’s first Minnesota acquisition. Jeff Swanson with Avison Young represented Michelin and JP Maloney with CBRE represented the landlord.
- 1400 Elmhurst Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL
- Completed two renewal leases totaling 6,000 SF with a regional logistics company and a custom woodworking design firm.
